The Victorian Salvia Study Group meets at various places depending on the particular purpose of the meeting. This can include identifying salvias; holding plant sales and displays; and doing everything else possible to foster and develop the Society’s OPCAA Salvia Collection.
The Group produces Salvia News, a quarterly newsletter on growing and studying salvias. Contact us to find out how to subscribe (see Home).
Where to Meet Us
The Society meets every month except January.
All meetings, including those of the Hills and the Nunawading Branches below, feature: guest speakers, some of whom are our own very knowledgeable members; a library with tapes of talks as well as books; herbal suppers; and trading tables of all things herbal. The venue is the hall of the West Hawthorn Uniting Church, which is at the rear of 8 Power Street, Hawthorn, (Melway 45 B8).
