Where to Meet Us

The Society meets every month except January.

All meetings, including those of the Hills, Nunawading and Mornington Peninsular Branches below, feature: guest speakers, some of whom are our own very knowledgeable members; a library with tapes of talks as well as books; herbal suppers; and trading tables of all things herbal. The venue is the hall of the West Hawthorn Uniting Church, which is at the rear of 8 Power Street, Hawthorn, (Melway 45 B8).

The Salvia Study Group Branch meets at various places depending on the particular purpose of the meeting. This can include identifying salvias; holding plant sales and displays; and doing everything else possible to foster and develop the Society’s Salvia Collections.

The Branch produces Salvia News, a quarterly newsletter on growing and studying salvias. Contact us to find out how to subscribe (see Home).

The Mornington Peninsula Branch meets from February to December in the Community Room, Mornington Library, Vancouver Street, Mornington on the second Wednesday of the month at 7.30 p.m.
